Description
The Ultimate Hose Reel!
Manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel, the Carscope hose reel is a once in a lifetime purchase for those with quality in mind.
What Henri from Carscope says:
I’ve had my Cox hose reel for several years now and while it is robust it has a few annoying drawbacks;
- It rusts
- The swivel is brass and slightly crunchy
- The hose tensioner always comes loose
- And the reel wobbles worse than my Jeep when I go over 30mph!
- The MTM versions suffer a similar fate
- So I decided to make my own!
Made completely from stainless steel and featuring a unique locking mechanism I’m very excited to finally share this with you!
The neoprene stabilisers eliminate play and can be adjusted as they wear, meaning you can fine-tune the speed at which your hose comes out.
The spring latch locks the reel in place when the hose is stored stopping it from unraveling
It also has a cast stainless steel swivel that’s buttery smooth
Obviously it’s made completely from stainless steel, meaning it’s corrosion resistance is far better then any powder coated competitor!
Perhaps my favorite part is that it can be completely dissembled, meaning individual pieces can be repaired, I don’t believe in single-use products. If you're going to invest in something, it should be repairable!
Completely hand tig welded right here in the UK 🇬🇧
I’ve also made it in two versions, a standalone reel and a reel with an integrated shelf, meaning those of you looking to do a van or wall-mounted system have a nice neat package ready to go!
How do i connect a hose?
To link the system simply attach the 1m link hose to the swivel of the hose reel, this will be the main feed into the reel. To attach the hose to the main body of the reel install the 3/8" plug using some PTFE into the outlet of the inner hose reel then use the 3/8" coupler on the end of the hose to attach to the plug. Now neatly reel up your hose and you're good to go!

The frequency of detailing can depend on the car’s use and storage conditions. Generally, a full detail is recommended every 4-6 months. Regular maintenance washes and a top up of protection can be done more frequently, ideally every 2-4 weeks, to keep the car in pristine condition. The use of Rapid Detailer or Express Sealant make maintaining the finish super easy.

Polishing involves using an abrasive compound to remove surface imperfections like swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation, restoring the paint’s smoothness and shine. Protection provides a protective layer over the paint, enhancing the shine and protecting the surface from environmental contaminants like UV rays, rain, and dirt. Products like Rapid Detailer, Express and our other last stage protection products (LSP) like Supergloss+ wax and QDX Ceramic are all good examples.
To prevent water spots, dry the car immediately with a clean microfiber drying towel, and avoid washing the car in direct sunlight. Using a quick detailer spray like Rapid Detailer as you dry can also help. The main thing is not to allow any water to dry on the surface.
Clean the tyres thoroughly with Incinerate Wheel cleaner and brush, our dedicated tyre cleaning brush works well. After cleaning, apply a tyre dressing or gel to give them a new look. Choose a non-sling formula to avoid residue flinging onto the car’s paint
